A warning before the first run

Both systems warn before the first launch of software they have not seen before. It is about how widely a file has been installed so far, not about what is in it.

On macOS: open it once, then go to System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down and choose Open Anyway. On Windows: More info → Run anyway.

Before you do either, you can prove the download is ours: compare its SHA-256 checksum with the one printed above. If they match, the file is byte-for-byte what we published.
