AXPERTZ FOCUS
Lock the phone for as long as you decide — calls and messages keep working
AXPERTZ FOCUS is a lock you put on yourself. You choose a length of time and the apps that may run; for that stretch, opening anything else sends you straight back to the home screen with the time remaining on the display. Phone calls and text messages are exempt in the code and can never be blocked, however long the session. Getting out early costs a full minute of waiting and then your PIN, and it is counted on your record — the friction is the product. The lock is stored as an end time, so restarting the phone does not shorten it, and you can optionally stop the app being uninstalled while a session runs. Nothing you do is uploaded: there is no account and no server of ours.

Calls and messages are never blocked
Your dialler, your messaging app and your contacts are permanently exempt in the code. No session of any length can stop you making or taking a call — that is a safety property, not a setting.
Breaking it costs something
A minute of an empty screen, then your PIN, then the session ends and the break is counted. Most urges do not survive the minute; the ones that do are visible on your record afterwards.
Nothing leaves the phone
No account, no sign-up, no server of ours. Your sessions, your app list, your PIN and your record live in the app's private storage and are deleted when you uninstall it.

The lock survives a restart
A session is an end time, not a running timer, so rebooting the phone does not shorten or clear it.
Uninstall protection
Optional. While it is on, Android refuses to remove the app during a session, so a moment of weakness cannot delete the lock. One switch turns it off again.

Minutes actually focused today next to your real screen time, a seven-day chart of both, your streak, and how many sessions you broke.

Grant the accessibility permission — the app explains exactly what it reads before asking — and choose a PIN.

Anything from fifteen minutes to eight hours. The countdown fills the screen.

- The accessibility permission reads one thing: the name of the app currently in front of you. Never screen content, messages or anything you type.
- That name is compared in memory and is never stored, never logged and never sent anywhere.
- Your PIN is kept only as a one-way hash — the PIN itself is never saved.
- The app shows a full explanation and asks you to agree or decline before the permission is ever requested, and you can withdraw it at any time in Android Settings.
- Every published APK carries a SHA-256 checksum so you can verify your download.

The first time you open it, your computer will ask

FAQ
Common questions
Google Play applies its strictest review to apps that use the AccessibilityService API — the one thing an app blocker cannot work without. Our submissions were declined on that ground, so we publish the app directly instead. It is the same app, signed with our own key, and the download page lists its checksum.
It is a few extra taps, and Android will show you two or three warnings because the file did not come from the Play Store. Every one of them is explained, in the order you will meet them, on the download page.
No. The dialler, the messaging app, contacts and the launcher are exempt in the code and cannot be added to a block list. This holds for a session of any length.
Nothing is lost. The PIN only guards ending a session early — every session still ends by itself when its timer runs out. You can also change the PIN at any time from the home screen.
No. Apps installed outside the Play Store do not update automatically. Return to the download page and install the newer file over the top; your settings, PIN and record are kept.
No, and there cannot be one that works this way. iOS does not let an app see which other app is open or close it. Screen Time is the nearest thing Apple offers.
